Major bug: unable to find nearby cell towers – Opensignal Internet Speed Test Review

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled this app ten times, disabled and re-enabled location services with Precise Location enabled each time, even turned off WiFi, made sure cellular data access is allowed in app settings. I am using an iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14.2. The app can track my location in the coverage map section, but it can never find nearby towers, which makes this app on iOS practically unusable beyond a speed tester and coverage map viewer. I’ve installed the app on my friend’s Android phone and it can locate towers properly. Both are on AT&T cell networks, so I’m not sure why it can track my location and run speed tests, but can’t ping a tower to determine its location with respect to my location.
