Loved this game until recently – Toy Story Drop! Review

Yes, it is difficult, which was part of the appeal for me. I do t want something a 6-year-old can breeze right through. I’ve been playing this game for quite a while now, but recently, like everyone else is saying, you can’t move on without paying. I understand the game developers want to make a buck here and there, so that part isn’t even my main complaint. Making us play levels to earn coins for certain bonuses/boosts, and then holding the coins hostage in a piggy bank until we pay real money to “open” it is irritating. Why not just make the coins purchase only instead of pretending to allow people to earn them? Cut out the middle man (middle Ham?) of the piggy bank part. Also, and this is the part that’s been bothering me most, I think, there seem to be no more of the fun bonus levels with Bo Peep or the aliens. What happened to those? I’ve combed through reviews to see if maybe I’ve just reached the “end” of the game, so none of that fun stuff is offered to mix it up anymore, but I don’t see any mention of it. I’m on scene 24, level 41 now, and I’m really not usually one to complain about game difficulty (the challenge is the fun part, right?), but this level seems to ACTUALLY be impossible to beat. It’s one of those annoying ones where you have to make matches next to a character to get him to move a space forward, so there’s no skill involved; it’s completely based on luck of the draw for those levels, but this one also has a second screen after you get past that part (which doesn’t happen). I made it to the second screen once in the 3+ weeks that I’ve been playing this same level. One. Time. Only because I used all of the boosts I had. And by the time I got to that second screen, I had only 2 moves left, which was definitely not enough to accomplish anything. Loved this game for such a long time, but, sadly, it’s time to get rid of it and move on to something else.
