Tesla doesn’t get privacy – Tesla Review

1) Everyone in the family with a linked phone can see the location of the car all the time. This needs an opt out: share location with A) primary phone B) all linked phones C) don’t share 2) the app uses gps, rather than Bluetooth, to auto-lock the doors. In order for auto lock to work you have to give the app (and therefore Tesla) access to your location Always, not just when you are using your app. It should use Bluetooth signal, possibly in addition to gps so the privacy concerned out their could use the app without Elon Musk tracking our every movement whether we were driving one of his cars or not. So I bought a key fob and disabled mobile access for the car. It is literally useless for me.
