Still room for improvement – Zero: Fasting & Health Tracker Review
I generally like the app, but here’s what I wish it had.
1. A way to log weight in 1/2 lb increments. That may seem like a small issue, but it can take a few weeks to lose a complete pound (especially given how weight fluctuates), so the option to log small progress would be much more motivating.
2. A way to modify the fasting options provided by the coach. I fast 7 days/week on an 18:6 plan, but the coach gives me options that are way easier than this or way harder. I always choose the best fit (18:6 for 5 days), but app users should be able to interact with that feature to modify it.
3. The information provided by the coach & the “learn” feature doesn’t really change.
For that reason, I’d recommend doing a 1-month subscription for $9.99 to try out the coach feature instead of committing $70 for the full year. This option is only available if you go into your subscription settings.
On the plus side, the app is easy to use with an intuitive feel & I do recommend trying it for a month.
