Ads Ignore Mute Status! – Crossy Road Review

I used to love this game. Now it has auto playing ads that pop up WITH SOUND even when all sounds in the game are muted. This is a MOBILE game! If I cannot safely play it in a variety of places without worrying about disturbing those around me, it is useless. I’m disappointed that the game has suddenly become unplayable. I am told that any purchase in the game will turn off the ads “forever,” but I don’t go in for blackmail (putting this offer after the ad spots, surely reveals that the developers INTEND the ads to be unpleasant to users? Why??), I don’t WANT any of the in-app purchases, and I don’t believe them when they say “forever.” I would happily pay $5 to buy this game, but I won’t be bullied into buying junk in the game. I am disgusted.
