WhatsApp login – Facebook Portal Review

The PortalTV doesn’t require a facebook account to use the product. Why do I need a facebook account to use the App with my PortalTV? Surely you should add the functionality to login to the app via WhatsApp? I want to use the app on my PortalTV but my PortalTV isn’t linked to Facebook account.
