HUGE game imbalance due to 200m gil being given to some – FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS Review

There was an apparent mistake where some players today were able to get 200,000,000 gil (or more but that is the cap). Rather than remove that gil when “fixing” the issue they allowed players to keep it while restricting other players from accessing it. For new players or those unaware this creates a huge imbalance since gil is used to upgrade units, Dark Visions is the endgame and now a portion of players can not need to worry about how to get DV units ready, enhancing units or any of the many other things that requires gil in the game. They take weeks to fix serious issues but as soon as a bug that benefits players occurs they are lightening fast to fix it, but in this case they didn’t ACTUALLY fix it because many players are walking away with the max amount of gil. The only two fixes would be to take the gil back from players that received it or to allow everyone to access it. This is the 4th anniversary so I know what would generate more good will...but anyway their “fix” was to restrict access and to send two hundred lapis and 10 energy pots as compensation which is more of a slap in the face to players than anything else. It is probably the worst treatment of a situation that breaks game balance like this that I have ever seen. Players are quitting, there is mass unrest, some are getting the BBB involved...and people were just starting to be happy after their terrible rush to get to neovisions causing a massive weekly power creep. Do not download this game. Do not play it. Gumi has shown over time how they treat customers and this time really takes the cake. They have also started hyper focusing on whales and only the most addicted players. 90% of your time will be spent in menus, doing tedious tasks like grinding events that are artificially lengthened etc. because time spent in game is one of the metrics they need to pad up to make the game appear successful. They also took a huge step backwards with NV units by removing a safety net or pity system, something we used to have. None of these issues will be fixed because whale wallets stay open and as a four year old game they likely have a shutdown date in mind and are milking customers for as much as possible before closing the servers while putting in the minimum amount of effort possible. Do not play.
