Great Series – Monkey Island Tales 5 HD Review

The entire series is SO AWESOME, but I have tried several times to use Guybrush's hook to tear a hole in the mainsail and all he says is, "Ugh, my hook has better uses than that...!" How do I get him to rip a hole in it?
