Frustrating as I want to give it more stars. – World's End Club Review

So first off. The game is great. Graphics are great, story is great, game play is limited but fun. It’s definitely worth a play. My problems are twofold. First, while the game is well translated, there is a lot of background Japanese that isn’t translated so it leaves non-native players at a disadvantage. This includes some subtle jokes that are on screen but can’t be read. The worst of it is an entire song and speech that has zero translation. Secondly, as is a terrible trend among Apple Arcade games, it’s not complete and won’t have an update for 6+ months. That’s crazy and really gives a bad taste for the game. I don’t have any motivation to replay the game (it’s not necessary) and won’t have a reason (or reminder) to pick it back up again in 6 months. I’m not sure what about the Apple Arcade model encourages this garbage but it’s at least the third game that has been unfinished and has had zero content updates (including launch titles). Sorry WEC for getting the review from it, but it’s just a bad practice that doesn’t cultivate any kind of loyalty.
