No show and no refund. – FlixBus & FlixTrain Review

What a disappointing experience. My husband and I booked 2 bus tickets after all the trains in Genova to Milan were full. We went to the bus location, saw multiple FlixBus buses go by, but not ours. We waited there for 2 hours until we decided to find another solution. We had to rent a car which was 300€ plus tolls. The worst part is when I spoke with their FlixBus’ customer service, they said that in their system we checked in to the bus (literally impossible) and that unless I had proof, they couldn’t give me a refund. When I showed them the rental car receipts, they doubled-down and refused a refund. My advice? Steer clear of this company as much as possible.
