The best app for a Keto/Paleo IF lifestyle – Stupid Simple Paleo Tracker Review
This is the first diet tracking app I haven’t hated and actually love using. This app has it all, you can track food, set fasting schedules, customize macros, and have fun while doing so. I cannot express strongly enough how much I love this app! Tracking my nutrition was the piece i was missing from my health journey and this has made a world of difference.
For the first time in my long quest for fitness, I actually look forward to logging meals on this app and it has helped me stay on track.
There’s a few things that could be improved, but overall worth every penny.
Pros:
-One-stop shop for tracking macros, meals, and fasting
-Allows for customizing macros for YOUR needs without pushing canned recommendations
-engaging UI with fun icons and easy addition of personalized recipes (under the custom meal section)
-Easily switch from Fast mode to eat mode. The only app i’ve seen that tracks fasting and feasting in the same place!
Cons (or suggestions for improvement):
-the progress log section could be enriched with better insights of nutrition patterns over time, and with a week/month view of weight over time instead of the single graph
-a bit clunky when searching for foods not on the main grid, but overall it works well enough
-would be nice to have visibility of micronutrients
-the manual entry for serving sizes would be more streamlined if it allowed you to key in partial servings (1.5, vs having to select 1 and then use the arrows for the decimal fraction)
-the exercise section isn’t very functional, would be great if it allowed to sync with my health app or other step tracker

Overall these nitpicks are minor, i love this app and i find it better for Keto/Paleo/IF than MFP and the other mainstream diet trackers out there
