Game play fine, but very gross money grubbing – Transformers Rescue Bots: Dash Review

Absurdly expensive to unlock characters for such a basic child’s game. My advice is don’t download. This is an a shameful and exploitative app designed to tease your kids into begging you to pay a ridiculous fee to unlock the rest of the game. Paying is fine! I love developers making a great living but these costs are not commensurate with the product being provided. I guess the license was expensive. Better to be the baddie for just not letting them play the game in the first place than being the baddie who won’t pay $15.00 to let them play as Optimus Prime (or unlock the additional levels that require more than the two characters that you can unlock via game play itself. Just avoid. For $15 you could get three months of Apple Arcade or purchase multiple worthy games from great companies who are trying to give kids a good experience, not exploit their naïveté and love of familiar characters.
