A little graphic by today's standards. – Tom Thumb - Classic tales Nathan Review

The product as a whole is put together wonderfully, reminded me of watching story's on Reading Rainbow as a child. That said, this story depicts a scene in which Tom Thumb tricks an ogre into cutting off his own daughters heads rather than that of Tom's siblings. The illustrations show the ogre holding a knife, while telling the story of the ogre beheading his daughters. My kids were a little stunned by the darker, old fashion style story telling.
