Works, many daily bugs and frustrations since using it – RemotePC Remote Desktop Review

They say you get what you pay for. Well, I think other ones work well that can be inexpensive. This budget remote access app works for light duty stuff usually. Yet it crashes often, graphics bugs, disconnects, can’t connect to a machine with a code on iOS and have to use a computer, can’t check for updates manually, poor interface, limited functionality and features, seems to conflict with other apps on windows so things hang at times, if it disconnects, the windows machine loses access to its printers, oh and more I’m sure. I’m going to another solution and pay more. Since I had to set everyone up to work remotely I’ve had waaaay more daily calls on issues that I didn’t have before, all related to RemotePC. It isn’t for mainstream use, a little home and side use it’s ok. Yet TeamViewer is free for home use, and more stable and robust. Be warned, try different apps. They used to offer a free one user account, and they, without notice or anything, just cut it off and left everyone hanging. Poor customer service. And when you look at their response to others, they show they don’t even read or care about customers or feedback. Go elsewhere for a more peaceful experience. UPDATE Developer response. Tried tech support. They didn’t know how to fix, back and forth and don’t have time. I already moved on to a stable product, can’t wait
