Original was excellent. This... – FINAL FANTASY VI (Old Ver.) Review

Downgraded this to 1 star due to way too frequent crashes. Unacceptable for a pay to play app. Not a very good port to the IOS platform. The game and story is one of the best final fantasy titles. But this version is nothing but terrible. The controls are so awkward it’s almost unplayable. I was hoping to get a good shot of nostalgia by playing this, but all I got was frustration simply trying to walk. The game continuously crashes in the middle of battles, some of which take a while to complete. This needs a lot of work before it can get even 3 stars. It’s also significantly harder than the original for reasons I don’t understand. In general, it hasn’t been a very good experience. If you’re just looking for nostalgia, use an emulator and play the original. This is hardly worth it as a free game, and 100% not worth $15
