It was ok for awhile – Mvelopes Review

I was a customer for a few years, then got double charged my annual membership fee (which went up without my permission). Now the app doesn’t work at all for me, won’t connect and won’t download account info. I thought maybe something was wrong at my banks, but I bank with 3 different institutions and none updated. Swapped to YNAB and have never had any issues. While I had mvelopes, I consistently had issues with accounts updating, a crashing app, and a clunky web browser. My #1 issue, what caused me to switch, was the double charge for the annual fee. Reached out to customer service a bunch, no response. Out $90. Go to YNAB, you pay more, but everything works really smoothly and syncs across all platforms and users effortlessly. UPDATE: Wes @ support helped me out. He was able to refund me both charges (apple and annual direct). Super helpful. He explained that the reason i had so much trouble previously was because I had signed up for the new BETA transition and that some of the coding kept me in an error loop. All in all, I’m pretty satisfied with the resolution that he provided. It was all i asked for, I wish it had worked the first time because i really did like the software and how (when it was working) it sync’d between my wife and I’s devices.
