Good start to great game – LaserTank Pro Review

I have an iPad Pro and the “right” button for the tank does not work. Tapping on it does nothing. So you can’t play the game at all. I used to play Laser Tank a very long time ago. It's a truly great game. Like the original game, this app allows you to play levels that have been created by past users. I see that a level I made a long time ago is included in the available levels to play. Although all that is good, the app leaves out several features, and this kills some of the fun the game has to offer. First, unlike the original game, there is no editor that allows you to make your own puzzle levels. Half the fun is being able to make your own levels! It would also be good to be able to save and share your own levels with friends. Second, unlike the original game, I don't see any way to search the available levels. As it is, you have to scroll through what looks like hundreds of levels to find what you want. The original game also had difficulty ratings for levels, and it would be good to search for that too. It would be better if it had all the original search functions. Third, unlike the original game, I see no option to turn off the animations. For some levels, the animations for the water and the tank movers can become very irritating. Besides those things, it looks like the original game, and the great sounds are there too.
