I have to pay again!! – VanillaPen: Design Studio Review

So I paid for this app when it first came out. You do an update and now I have to pay?? I reached out through the website over a month ago an NO ONE had gotten back to me! This is ridiculous and unfair. If I can report this to Apple.. I will be doing so!
