scam – Master in 24h for Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access, OneNote, Publisher) Review
This is a scam, and I'll tell you why: the price is not commensurate with the product. I downloaded it after, admittedly, not reading the description thoroughly, thinking it was an app version of Word and Excel. So I take responsibility for my own impatience and stupidity. BUT, it's important to note, that the main reason I was quick to assume this was a word processing app was the high price tag. It is priced at exactly the same rate as Pages and Numbers and other equivalent productivity apps. For $22, I couldn't have imagined it would be a cheesy tutorial. Those types of apps usually go for $1.99 or so.
So it is clear that the people selling this app are counting on people making exactly the mistake I just did. It's infuriating and although certainly legal, in contractual terms, is not ethical by a long stretch.
Class action lawsuit anyone?
