XM refresh App – SiriusXM Dealer Review

There could not be a simpler yet complete method for setting up 90 day trials in Pre-Owned inventory. If your store is registered w/XM and the VIN is in your system you can tune to XM Chan. 001, scan the door frame VIN bar code and leave the car running for a couple minutes outside. I’ve done a half dozen cars, returning to the first one and twirling to Bluesville “74”. Not only is it a favorite but more importantly it only comes up if the full refresh has been accomplished. Some times there is a widespread “teaser” authorization that allows everyone to get a handful of stations but not “74”! Lock ‘em up as you go and your good. Report them sold and the trial begins. The App even has links to live bodies for the occasional aftermarket or replaced tuner that the XM code doesn’t match the VIN. Nice crew BTW.
