Not D&D – Warriors of Waterdeep Review

So this game makes use of the name Dungeons and Dragons, but does not fulfill virtually any aspects of what makes D&D enjoyable. Characters are not created by you, but a previously created script. There are no choices or storyline to resolve. There is very limited choices for your characters and skills. You can have about 2 to 3 weeks of progress at the start of this game where you will feel like your pocket isn’t being picked. But after that it becomes a grind and a cash grab. A game where you build your character or characters, have an ability to form teams (with other players) and complete tasks/missions, that allows some choices in NPC interactions and storylines, and did a bit more world building would be worthy of your time. This isn’t that, not by a long shot.
