Almost no strategy – Warriors of Waterdeep Review

This game is all numbers. Fight another party that's one level higher, get slaughtered. Fight one that's one level lower, you win. At about level 6, you'll be hanging out at that level until you spend money. Not a lot, but if you've played a pay to win game before, you'll know that they try to squeeze $10-$40 out of you at a time to keep your hero numbers higher than the challenges. The farther you go the more money you have to spend. Or push buttons in order to wait for another chest to open, in which case the game has become a chore. Add strategy to the game and you might get $10 out of me. Otherwise, go start over and use your time to build a real game.
