AI too powerful – European War 6: 1914 Review

I have played most of not all of the European war games and the world conqueror games. However, even with that experience I find it impossible to play as some countries and win (Russia) and get those same countries in conquest mode when I play as their enemy (Germany or Austria-Hungary) they absolutely dominate me with early technological leaps that make no sense how they got and random spawns of generals in their cities (Warsaw mainly). The generals that are spawned in this cities that do not have general recruitment centers built (the little hat icon) then give OP generals that are literally impossible to beat. I have tried to play Germany many times in the 1914 conquest scenario, and every time I have to split my forces somewhat evenly and I get to Paris within 15-20 turns, but then I look over at the other side of the map at Russia and they have 2 artillery generals that can 1-hit a tank general then 2 or 3 ok infantry generals, while all of my generals (even my good and greats ones) are all destroyed. Meanwhile, if I play Russia I can fend off the Ottomans and the Austro-Hungarians ok but have been dominated by the Germans as they march into St. Petersburg and Moscow. Then the British Economy is literally overbearing and they can produce artillery every round and throw them at you like you are candy. The just being that the AI is so overpowered and cannot be beat in some scenarios. Not all. Some. Plus the French old guard is OP and is very difficult to deafest without a general. Two more things: 160 absolute limit, not ok. Especially in 1914. Needs to be 190-200 in just the 1914 scenario (times do change). And 2: I am a bit of a map freak and enjoy literally all of the game play except the MAPS. I’m sorry, but they are very inaccurate. I can understand in the campaigns to some extent, but come on. I want to feel like Wilhelm II looking down on a topographically and geologically correct map of Europe or America. (BTW being very nit-picky but Russia owned Łódź in 1914). And also some cool bonus content would be Mexican Revolution/Civil Wars since they happened 1910-1920ish Response: Ok. I can understand the population. But I have upgraded all of my generals. I have Hindenburg through extremely hard work. I am working to get either Robert E Lee or Svetozar Borojëvić. And I am trying and trying but medals are really hard to come by. Campaigns are hard to complete and the conquest as I have stated are insane. I believe that I’m earlier games the AI was a bit too easy. But I also believe that you can add a difficulty level adjustment. This would be best. I am ok with the hard difficulty for a challenge, but in order to get medals I want, if not need, a lower difficulty so I can obtain medals (without paying money) to get generals. I will refuse to pay medals because I believe that the point of the game is hard work to “win a war”, but with starting up it is impossible to get consistent medals. I have to watch ads and even then rarely get medals. I have for about a month been trying to get Borojëvić, yet still only have 528 out of the 650 required medals. I will still work hard but I will not go to your greediness for buying medals.
