Path of Least Resistance – Digital SLR Photography Review

I greatly enjoy the content this magazine provides, but the app leaves much to be desired. For starters, the content is more or less a straight digital copy of the print magazine. This makes viewing on the iPad awkward since you're constantly having to double tap to zoom and then scroll to see the content once you've zoomed. There is also no interactive content, video, or anything else that leverages the iOS platform. Content on the iPad opens up a lot of possibilities, both for content developers and readers. As far as I can tell, Digital SLR Photography took the path of least resistance here and didn't innovate whatsoever. They should take a look at Guitarist Deluxe for inspiration.
