Pretty Great – Word villas - Crossword&Design Review

Overall I like this game and am quite taken with it. I see many negative comments and reviews but to me the pros far outweigh the cons. Some of the grammar and speaking in the stories is a bit off but that may be a language barrier between myself and the makers of the app, it doesn’t bother me much. The puzzles are not too easy and not too hard as you work through them, pretty average I think. I do see words repeated lots, words that I don’t recognize that I’m not sure are real words or at least not standard English words and some that are used in other countries like the UK that you have to figure out. I think the rewards are great, I feel like you really get a lot for what you’re doing. I understand ads to buy better items but I don’t really agree with the ads after finishing a level. I try to look at it in a positive light though in that you do get good rewards for watching fairly short ads. I can’t complain about the packs costing money because I downloaded the game after they started not being free but I wish some were just the same. I’ve heard there’s other stories but I have only seen the one I’m playing. It’s the girl has broken up with her boyfriend and come to fix up her childhood home deciding she wants to stay and run it as a bed and breakfast. I was hoping for the one where she’s pregnant but don’t know how to get it. I like the decorating part most including the story. I’ve seen many complain about the length of the story and such but you can hit skip if you don’t want to see it. I have the newest iPhone so maybe mine is different but I’ve had no game crashes, just a few ads that wouldn’t play and go back to the game where I’ve had to restart the app. A few ads don’t like to close but if I move the app like I’m going to close it they close for me. All in all I would recommend it just know there are things that cost money if you want them which is pretty standard for an app. Update: My main complaint is I’ve had issues and nobody ever responds to my messages for anything. Like right now there’s a contest and it’s using flowers for the leaderboard. I’ve got over 4000 but it shows me way down the line at 200. I also don’t see a response to almost any reviews from the developers. I’ve found there are for sure words that aren’t real words in any language which is frustrating, I know because I look up all the strange ones I don’t recognize. The bad English in the story text can be a bit off putting but I can understand if English is not the first language of the person writing it that it can be that way. Maybe someday that will improve more, possibly have someone else write the dialogue. It can also be harder to figure out the words from other countries such as the UK or Germany. Sometimes the words are real but aren’t something most anyone would know like military words for other countries. There’s also times real words I put in aren’t accepted and it’s frustrating when I double check and know they’re standard words especially when you lose the flowers because of it. I also notice the dialogue is crossed at times as in not the right character is speaking what the words are. If you don’t want to watch the ads after finishing levels close and reopen the app. We are given lots of perks like free items for rooms and new sets by completing levels or other challenges which is really nice. We’re given opportunities as well to win outfits, puzzle help and more too which I love. I look forward to more in the future from the game. I didn’t realize the age on this says 4+ somehow until I was reading reviews. I would for sure raise that as some of the words and content aren’t appropriate for kids. Also I saw someone say an ad they saw for this game showed something wildly in appropriate, can’t say as though I’ve seen it anywhere though. The worst I saw is where she’s pregnant and it asks keep baby or abortion. That’s not kid friendly at all. Do you have to delete and start from scratch to get a new storyline?
