Unjustified last minute cancellation – HomeAway Vacation Rentals Review

We were notified by the app that our transaction has been canceled TWO HOURS prior to check-in time. Apparently, you as a guest can only cancel the transaction 14 days prior to check-in date for a full refund, while the home owner can cancel the transaction minutes before check-in time. Furthermore, their system does not allow booking for the same day check-in, so we were not able to look for a different property. We ended-up canceling the whole trip.
