Pay to play trash – Mushroom Wars 2: RTS Strategy Review

The game is pay to play garbage... literally. You absolutely have to pay real money 5$ to play 1 episode of the campaign, there are 4 episodes, so 20$ unless there is a sale. My apologies but no I’m not giving you money to play 5 lvls excluding the tutorial just to be told “pay for the rest of the episode”. I get you need to make money, we all understand nothing is free but you could have done anything else to do this. This is the sort of garbage corporate idea that EA would have, or even Bethesda at this point. Yet I will say the game is really fun I enjoyed the 5 levels we got and couldn’t wait to try the next one and really challenge myself to get gold stars for chests. Now don’t take this review as harsh, I liked MW2, however I hate these money grabbing tactics, were 99% would prefer to watch adds for bigger in game rewards before we have to pull out our wallets. It’s not that we don’t want to support the devs but the majority of us can’t right now, I mean I personally have a kid to raise so it is difficult for me to want to pay for it, which is why I don’t mind watching ads. Overall the game is a 4/5, but how everything is executed it drops it down to a 1/5.
