Audio / Video issues – CNN: Breaking US & World News Review

I brought up the app last night to watch coverage of the January fourteenth democratic debate and was met with rampant audio / video issues the entire time. For the video, the problems were most often with the lower bar footnotes often reading totally incorrect information. Such errors include: misinformation in the wording, incorrect or blatantly biased phrasing of questions, and certain questions that were not informative and seemed to be written to further very pointed attacks on a certain candidate. The audio was even worse. The most common errors with the audio were it sounding like the moderators were purposely wording questions in a way to discount and attack a particular candidate, the audio skipping so it sounded like the moderators were ignoring answers and attempting to paint a candidate as a liar, and not holding all candidates to the same time restraints for answers. Oddly enough, all these errors made it seem like the majority of the debate was about CNN trying to make Bernie Sanders seem like the exact opposite of what he is; a fully inclusive, well thought-out and well spoken senator with both a plan for how to enact legislation and a plan for how to pay, down to the last dollar, for every proposal without costing the majority of taxpayers anything more than what they are already paying. In fact, often much less overall than they are paying. Of course, this is perhaps because CNN is owned by a company, AT&T, that paid ZERO dollars in federal taxes last year and wants to continue to pay nothing while the citizens of this country go bankrupt. But, no, I’m sure it was just a series of glitches.
