Unusable advertising bombardment – New York Subway MTA Map Review

The app borders on being unusable since it just spams you with fullscreen ads anytime you open it. I don’t have an issue with advertising, but when it hinders your ability to actually use the app then it makes that app pointless. Most people use this app to check the subway map quickly on the train platform to make sure they get on the right train. But anytime you attempt to do so, you have 3 seconds before ads take up the entire screen and block your access to the map. After a period of time the ad allows you to close it, but then a second ad pops up when you do so. By the time it allows you to close that one, the train you were trying to get info on has already come and gone.
