Broken in iOS 13. – FINAL FANTASY VI (Old Ver.) Review

Edit— They appear to have finally fixed the problem causing the game to be unplayable in iOS 13. I do find it funny though that their description of the patch is “Fixed minor bugs.” I wouldn’t describe the game being literally unplayable as a “minor” problem, but at least they did fix it. ——— Like many others have said, the game is broken in iOS 13 and is unplayable. I reached out to Square Enix about this and I was told they were aware of the issue and are supposedly working on a fix but did not know when one would be available. It is disturbing that they would knowingly continue to take money from Apple customers for a product that can’t be used, but I guess that’s the current state of Square Enix. I did reach out to Apple about this as well, but was given a non-response back that can be summed up as “we don’t care lol.” Buyers beware, do not allow Square Enix to steal your money while this app is broken! It’s a great game, but only when it’s playable! You CAN request a refund through iTunes if your purchase was made recently, as well!
