Playlists in the future...? – Asana Rebel: Get in Shape Review

I absolutely love this app. For the last several months I have been doing yoga almost every single morning, and have noticed a marked difference in my strength and flexibility. I carry myself better (I work a desk job and used to slouch a lot), and have so much more energy than I used to. I don’t have a lot of experience in building a workout regimen for myself, so I love to follow the “Collections” and not have to think about what I’m doing to do early in the morning. I just play the next one in the list! I’ve raved about this app to everyone I know, and didn’t even know that it also has meditation! My primary device of use is an Apple TV, which doesn’t have the full range of awesome features that the app does (but still does very well for strictly working out). I had been looking into separate meditation apps, and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that my favorite app already had it. I play a meditation immediately after shavasana, and it helps to prep my mind and body for the day. The ONLY thing I would ask the developers to add is the ability to create my own workout “playlist” of sorts, so that I can skip the warm up/cool down between workouts that I have chosen. I know there’s an option to “start next workout” as one ends, but it’s randomly selected. I’d love to be able to string a few of the 12 minute videos together to make a personalized workout on the weekends when I have more time. All said, I love this app, and highly recommend it to anyone that is working on improving their relationship with their body and mind!
