Still does not allow importing! – Figure - Make Music & Beats Review

Update: Still does not allow importing other Figure pieces for remixing. The only thing “IT SHOULD DO” and can’t. Not impressed with the new owners. ——— The v3.0 update now “requires” an account with your email address or to create a Propellerhead account and to log into it just to use the app! Why?? 5 stars to 1 star for Propellerhead’s apparent direction with Figure. Yeah, they got it back. Big whoop, as all Propellerhead ‘appears’ to be focusing on is pulling it into Reason, which is puzzling since Figure supposedly was the synth engine out of Reason. Anyway, for us Figure owners that either have no desire to use big, complicated DAWs or simple can’t afford $400 for Reason, this is a huge disappointment. What Figure needs is the ability to import/export files so Figure owners can remix their friend’s pieces. (What really should have happened IMO was for Apple to buy Allihoopa but Tim Cook wasn’t that smart. In essence, Music saved Apple once! What will Now?) ——- You’ll still be able to use Figure but not with the social music sharing, remixing, etc. Too bad as Allihoopa is the best out there. None of the other sites (like Bandlab) just aren’t as good nor fun/easy to use. —— In the little more than 9 months that I've been using Figure, and it can be maddening at times, it also never ceases to amaze me from time to time! Does it have a boatload of features? No. But what it does, it does very well! You can be as manual or as automated as you like in your music production. My suggesting? Get it. What do you have to lose? Well, time, basically. Hours can go by in seemingly minutes but it is so much fun❣️ And the Allihoopa experience is, well, one of the very best experiences in my life❣️
