More than a little disappointed – Guardian Connect US Review

Just switched from a Tandem T-slim with a Dexcom G6 to the 670g trying to get the best technology to manage my Type 1 Diabetes. I am pretty disheartened to learn that although the Guardian sensor connected fine to the pump, it will not connect to the app due to what appears to be lack of updating to work with the newer iOS systems. This is a downfall on Medtronic’s part, as one of the best parts of the Dexcom G6 system is I could use the app to share my blood glucose levels with family to better keep myself safe when I was off on my own or with those who do not really know the severity of my situation. This really makes the new switch to the Medtronic system a bit uneasy due to this downfall of the app.
