Volume and Closing – Shifty Calendar Review
I work in the restaurant industry and those of us that work dinner shift may be either scheduled to “work volume” or “work til close.” Volume means you’re scheduled to work until the dinner rush is over but you get to leave early. I’m a closer so my quitting time ranges anywhere from 30 minutes before closing time (if we close early due to lack of customers) to 2.5 hours after closing time (if we are packed up until the bitter end). I suggest you make it possible to add a start time but leave the end time blank. Btw I LOVE this app.
