Shifty makes it easy to add and view events that always change, which is common among shift workers like nurses, doctors, retail staff, etc. These schedules are usually unpredictable, and adding them to a calendar is not the best experience on traditional calendar apps. Shifty allows users to easily tap to mark their work days, and export shifts all at once with the same start/end times. Users can further take advantage of iCloud calendar sharing to let family and friends see which days they work.

I like the app but I don’t know its full ability because I have to buy it. Which I don’t mind but it would have been better to offer it as a free trial that you keep at the discounted price after rating. This way you get a more accurate review of the app. I can only give two stars because I have only gotten access to two stars worth of the app. Maybe I will update this later.....

Volume and Closing

I work in the restaurant industry and those of us that work dinner shift may be either scheduled to “work volume” or “work til close.” Volume means you’re scheduled to work until the dinner rush is over but you get to leave early. I’m a closer so my quitting time ranges anywhere from 30 minutes before closing time (if we close early due to lack of customers) to 2.5 hours after closing time (if we are packed up until the bitter end). I suggest you make it possible to add a start time but leave the end time blank. Btw I LOVE this app.

I wish I knew ahead of time that you could only set one schedule without having to pay. A little useless unless you pony up. That said, it’s cheap, easy to read, and gets the job done.

This app makes it easy to just add events to multiple days at the same time. A feature that has become my favorite as I DNT have to click on each date each to add new events
