The idea is great, but the app is useless – Knowing Your Volkswagen Review

Having an interactive digital owner’s manual is a great idea. Sadly this app gets everything wrong. The app asks your vin, but seems to only use that as a security check to make sure you’re entitled to view the copyrighted manual. It doesn’t make a tailored experience to show you the specific features of your vehicle’s trim. The app also seems to need your vin every time you use it. It doesn’t remember your car. Any time an app needs you to log in with more than touchID on a regular basis that’s a complete failure to begin with. Not remembering your car is the same as other apps not remembering your user Id. Also there aren’t many videos - it’s like they abandoned the effort after launching. It’s a great idea VW. Please invest in this app and make it flawless and useful. It’ll probably pay for itself in your CSR’s time alone.
