Charged me but never provided number – CoverMe Private Text & Call Review

I tried to sign up for a UK number and paid $4 to do so. Apple shows I have subscribed, but the Cover Me app still shows me having an expired number. Tried support but it told me to check my email settings within the app. My email was there. There was also no obvious to change it. Not great. Just received reply despite email message. It suggested I pay via credit... even though I have already subbed through apple. Paying twice isn’t the sort of answer I was hoping for.
