Controller programming is the absolute worst! – Crossy Road Review
Poor controller programming. The left swipe control issue with SIRI remote is awful! The issue becomes evident the faster you play. For a right handed player, a left swipe of thumb has a left vector component and a somewhat smaller down vector component. Sometimes, therefore, the SIRI remote will interpret a LEFT command as a BACKWARD command. Conversely, a backward pull swipe of thumb is a more direct motion on the SIRI remote (primarily downward). I have never seen a BACKWARD command result in a leftward movement of the character, but frequently see a LEFT command result in a backward movement of character. There should be enough smarts in the SIRI controller for it to interpret the difference between a LEFT command and a BACKWARD command. I guess one could argue that the issue is all just part of the game and the shortcoming is a challenge for faster players to overcome. However, why not just fix the issue? One Star since Zero is not an option!
