Customer service nightmare – Lyft Review

I used lyft for years.Drivers are great. Sadly one negative customer service experience overshadowed it all. I have never been so poorly treated or ignored by a customer service team. The first issue is that they communicate through email only. What could have been solved in 10 minutes over the phone instead led to email threads where I was either ignored, condescended to, and told opposing information depending on which email respondent I received replies from. Have never had a company leave such a bad taste. A shame, as they have great potential. Unrelated, but their gps algorithm for shared rides will take you to the opposite side of town (in NY at least) before finally taking you to your destination. Was willing to overlook this for a long time Bc of positive driver experiences, but this fact only bolstered my decision to delete the app when the lyft customer service team failed to find solutions for a negative experience I had.
