Beware of buying items – Fury Survivor: Pixel Z Review

I have been playing this game for around 1-2 months, basically since Markiplier done a video on it. I will have to say I thoroughly enjoy the game. The mechanics are simple and the gameplay is good. You don’t have to spend to make progress but it does make it easier. *This is the reason for low marks* The reason I’m giving this a low score is because I just found out they are using basically a bait and switch on items like weapons and armor that you buy with the gold, which costs real world money. My favorite gun is the M249 in the game, found one that said it had X base stats and was better than the one I had. Go to purchase it and the gun I get is about 1,000 short on damage that it was showing in the store. I have contacted in game support over this issue just wanting either the gun I was originally showed or the gold I spent back on it and basically they are false advertising. I was told even though X item has said base stats, you could receive an item with lower stats. I have not seen this said anywhere so this came as a shock to me. I know it was only a little amount that I purchased specifically to buy the gun, but if you are advertising an item with X stats, but end up getting one with lower Y stats, how is that not false advertising and bait and switch. They said there is nothing that can be done about this so I’m done with putting any money into this game, maybe the game itself for good. I hate to say that but I’m not going to be duped on my hard earned money. If they correct this I will change my score and review, but I don’t see them doing the right thing. Edit: So apparently if you buy a weapon, if it’s got the extra damage stat it is already a part of the total damage the weapon will do before you even buy it. So if you buy the weapon, there is a chance it could not be on there, thus resulting in a lower number than what you think you’re getting. Customer service apparently didn’t understand what I was trying to get at and thought I didn’t understand them, writing so sad :(. If this is how you are going to treat your customers and players, I am done with the game.
