Need a reply and explanation why in order to function this app asks for access to all my Contacts!? – TripWhistle Global SOS - International Emergency Phone Numbers (911, 112, etc) for Travelers Abroad Review

This app opens by saying that it must have access to all my personal Contacts - which have NOTHING TO DO WITH calling for Emergency Help in other countries or while traveling! That is BOGUS - suspicious - and TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! So I had to just DELETE this app - which would have been incredibly vital and important in so many situations.
