App locks up

If you tap the share location or address and then press ‘X’ button to close the selections, it just locks the app and I can’t do anything???!!! Just have to force close app. iOS 13.3 iPhone X
Need a reply and explanation why in order to function this app asks for access to all my Contacts!?

This app opens by saying that it must have access to all my personal Contacts - which have NOTHING TO DO WITH calling for Emergency Help in other countries or while traveling! That is BOGUS - suspicious - and TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! So I had to just DELETE this app - which would have been incredibly vital and important in so many situations.

I know a lot of people who travel around the world who would love to use this app. It is easy to use and it is invaluable to know what the local first responders are in your area. I highly recommend this app.
