Videos are not playing properly – YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream Review

As of late, videos are not playing properly at all. They will not buffer, and then load at 144p for no reason. My internet connection is good enough to play 1440p on my computer (on WiFi), but can barely play 1080p on the app on my phone (on WiFi).
