Really, DON’T bother... – Hallmark Movie Checklist Review

OKay, here’s the thing Hallmark. You have been around for yrs. You have tugged at the hearts of many woman, men and even children that truly love the movies and shows you let us watch. I am a believer of always giving an honest review of apps, and products online, and to be honest I think I’ve only ever given a one star review, this will be my second time. This app is literally useless...yes, useless. Why would you go to the trouble of launching an app like this “checklist app” if it wasn’t truly ready? Over the past 5 yrs I started keeping a record of all the movies/shows I watch on your Hallmark Channels. (We currently have Dish Network and have 3 different Hallmark channels.) This app could have and should have been an easy one for you guys to launch. Heck, hire an intern and have them input all the info into the app as part of their internship. I literally have a list of over 40 more Christmas movies that I’ve got written down by title and year that are not on the app...yes, some are older, but isn’t that the point of the checklist to have all the movies/shows you have put out by Hallmark so we can “CHECK OFF” what we have watched? Same with the non holiday regular movies, tons I have written down and NOT on the app. No Thanksgiving list, Easter list, etc etc etc...AND another big miss with the app? You should have listed if there was a sequel to a movie so we would know to watch one movie before the latest movie in sequence...AND WHY would the app not let us “sign in” to make an account so “my checklist” would sync across “my iPad/iPhone” so no matter what device I was using, my checklist would be there. I see where “someone at Hallmark is responding to others dissatisfaction about the app” writing that Hallmark is always adding more movies to the checklist and to keep checking back...SERIOUSLY HALLMARK....come on, your company is so much better than this, you TRULY ARE!!!! AGAIN, if money is tight, get an intern to do this as their internship project...companies do this all the time.... please re-launch this wonderful “APP IDEA” into an app and make it shine!!!
