After repeated claims that bugs were being fixed, the problems are worse than ever. – Texifier : LaTeX editor Review

I have been using LaTeX for decades now, happily writing math intensive papers. Finding a program that would work on an iPad seemed genius. However, this one has never worked well on either of my two iPads. And the support has been abonimably bad. 1. On the previous iPad, the program would systematically freeze, an error message would pop up far too quickly to be read, and the program would not respond to the keypad, sometimes for as much as 5 seconds. 2. On the current iPad, the freezing continues, and now it is compounded by flickering of the .pdf images, and a recurrent inability to scroll through the document. 3. On neither iPad have I been able to email my files. Support told me that I needed to have an email account set up on the iPad. This was useless, an email account was set up, and when I asked what might have been meant, there was never a response. 4. I have tried, many many times, to get support for the freezing issues. I recently looked through the email trail, it is impressively bad. Several times the promise was made that my problems would be resolved when version 1.8 came out. They are now on version 1.8.2. The same problems continue, some of them have become worse. In all, my recommendation is to give up on this program. Unfortunately, I do not know of a competently written option. Maxwell B.
