First time user – BAND - App for all groups Review

My review of band is to advise that the the red notification be taken off the bottom of the page after reviewing the latest notification. As of now, after getting the first notification in my phone, I’m able to see what it is, but when I arrive back to my home, the bottom of the page still indicates in red as if my message has not been read yet. So I see my latest message twice which is very annoying.
