Great for Creating Habits and Rewarding My Son – Pennybox - Pocket Money Review

I love this app! It is great for rewarding positive behaviors and task completion. The one thing I would like to see added is the ability to deduct money in the “Tasks” or “Wallet” tabs for reasons other than “Cashing Out.” For example, I have his allowance automatically added to his wallet every Friday. He has certain tasks he is responsible for during the week in order to earn his allowance. If he doesn’t complete a task or chore, I would like the ability to DEDUCT money so he sees the negative impact of NOT doing something. I don’t want to do this through “Cashing Out” as cashing out is his way of receiving his rewards for the tasks he has completed. I want “Cashing Out” to be a positive thing, but deductions for negative behaviors to be seen as a negative thing. Otherwise, this app is a great way to teach responsibility. Also, it’s a way to teach my son that he can’t just have something because he wants it - he has to earn it!
