Why?????? – Jewel Crush®- Match 3 Games Review

I really like playing this game. I admit that when I get stumped at a level, I take a day or more break then come back. Today I was sailing along level 162 when I had one more square to blast and ran out of shots. I tried 4 times to purchase the $16.99 special for 99cents and I could not get the purchase to go through. I have never had an issue like this before. Very discouraging.
