Where is the data coming from? – Marine Weather Right Now Review

The closest two NOAA buoys are showing different data. The push pin that drops as your 'Nearest Marine' data source I assume - is smack dab in the middle of a village (Greenport NY - I'm in Southampton, NY). How is there accurate marine data coming from 'Main St.'? Also your flip flop from metric to imperial measurements from on side of the slash to the other - same with celsius and Fahrenheit. Keeping metric consistantly on one side and. Imperial on the other would be easier. Very simplistic and not worth the memory space in my opinion.
