Disappointing – Color Petals Lite: Combine Fun, Puzzles and Math Review

I really wanted to like this game. It looks GREAT and is really cleverly designed. However, the gameplay is boring. The idea is to add petals together to make the target score, but the majority of the petals are too high to work with your target number. This doesn't present actual difficulty; it creates an artificial construct where you have to keep petals out of the wheel, because you lose a "life" if you add a petal wrong. It's only a math game in the basest sense, and changing the difficulty only makes the numbers bigger and petals move faster, not adding any actual thought requirement. There's a neat premise here and a better designer could make a fun game out of it, but this game is boring and not worth your time. I realize this might seem like gibberish. If you want to understand it better, try the game; it's free. But it's really, sadly, not worth the time.
